Neil Bare is the Group Strategy & Finance Director at one of Australia’s largest privately held agriculture machinery groups, where he oversees strategy, financial health, and commercial property management. With a background in leading complex operations, Neil has a proven track record of delivering growth and innovation.
Prior to this, Neil held several senior roles at the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles NRL Club, including CEO, COO, and CFO, where he restructured commercial, operational, and football functions, resulting in significant achievements like relocating NRL games to major cities and pioneering stadium naming rights agreements. He also redefined the club’s pathways, securing a national under-20s Premiership title in 2017.
As Group CFO of the Panthers Group, Neil managed $300 million in assets and $150 million in annual revenue, executing a successful divestment strategy that saved the company $4 million annually. His leadership also helped restructure the legal entity to save $5 million in taxes.
Beyond his commercial expertise, Neil is committed to making a meaningful impact, serving on the board of Cure The Future Foundation.
He provides strategic oversight to help drive the foundation’s mission to fund groundbreaking medical research, particularly in genetic diseases, and works closely with the team to ensure sound governance and financial integrity.
