A passionate advocate for medical research and community impact, Diane Langmack OAM brings a wealth of experience in leadership, stakeholder engagement, and philanthropy to the Cure the Future Foundation. With a career spanning sport, media, and business, she has been a driving force behind initiatives that create meaningful change.
With deep roots in Rugby League, Diane has spent decades fostering strong community connections and championing causes that improve lives. As General Manager of Stakeholder Engagement and Executive Assistant to Phil Gould AO at the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, she plays a key role in strengthening partnerships and delivering strategic programs. Previously, during her two decades as Public Relations Manager for the Panthers NRL Club, she led major initiatives such as the Panthers Women in League program and contributed to the Panthers on the Prowl Board, helping to develop impactful community outreach programs.
Beyond the world of sport, Diane has been a dedicated force in philanthropy, serving as Chair of Cure the Future Foundation and the Australian Gynaecological Cancer Foundation. Over the past 30 years, she has led efforts to raise awareness and critical funding for pioneering medical research, working to advance innovative treatments for life-threatening diseases.
As a three-time cancer survivor, Diane brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her role. She not only understands the patient experience firsthand but also leads with a relentless drive to transform the future of medical treatment and care. Her journey fuels her determination to support groundbreaking research that improves outcomes for those facing genetic diseases and other serious health challenges.
Recognised with an Order of Australia Medal in 2013 for outstanding community service, Diane has also been nominated for NRL Women of the Year, NSW Women of the Year, and Telstra Business Women of the Year. With a strong background in governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, she is a valuable asset to the Cure the Future Board, bringing expertise, passion, and a results-driven approach to advancing the Foundation’s mission.
